PSXMC2PSP BETA 1 by weltall (c) 2005-2007

This is a new app made specifically to be used in conjuntion with an homebrew
"compatible" ps2 and a psp with cwcheat.
With this you will be able to move saves from the psp saved mc to the psx
mc into your ps2 and viceversa directly by connecting the psp to the usb port of your ps2 :)

So for example if you want to continue when you are away a psx game which you normally play
on the ps2 (or the psx but you still need a ps2 for this) you can just hook your psp
with an usb cable (also a card reader can be fine) load this application, select the psx mc
and were you want to save it, insert the game cdrom and press SELECT in this way you will
be able to load it directly from cwcheat into your psx game emulated on the psp :)
When you want to come back playing on the ps2 it will be the inverse process so just
hook your psp load the app, select the mc were to send the savedata from the psp, insert the cd
and press start. the mc will be formatted and pullulated with the psx mc from the psp and you will
be able to continue playing your game :)

HOW TO USE (as we don't need to install it :P)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1- Load with your favourite homebrew loader (eg: dms mc explorer, toxic os, ps2link, ulanchelf, cdrom...)
2- you will be presented with a screen with your mc listings and some data around
3- connect your psp or a card reader and go in usb mode
4- Press L2 to cycle your mcs and select the one you want to use
5- insert the cdrom of the game you want to load the mc to (this will name the mc correctly so you don't
   need to name it by yourself, if you don't put a cd the mc will be called MYMC-#.mcr and you will need
   to name it correctly to make it work)
6- Press right/left to select the correct mc number on the psp
7- Press SELECT to copy your mc on the psp and START to format the psx mc and copy the mc of the psp to the
   psx memory card
8- enjoy :)

these are the complete commands:

L2: select mc0/mc1
SELECT: copy the selected mc saves to the selected mcr on the psp
START: format the psx mc and copy the saves from the selected mcr on the psp to the psx memory card
R1: enable/disable save extended info: blocks, save game internal name, number of frames icons
    this is extremely slow as it needs to load all the files from the psx mc which is a slow device
UP/DOWN: select saves
LEFT/RIGHT: change psp side memory card number (0-255) same as cwcheat
TRIANGLE: get more info about the selected save (the same as R1 except it's only for the selected save
          and the results are shown on the console not on the screen so this requires ps2link+ps2client)
CROSS: this is a "bonus" this copies the current save to host0: (requires ps2link+ps2client connection)
       as a ps1 single save so you can open it with psx mem tool

Some Important notes:
* this is a beta so it's still missing some functions i want to add and also it could contain some bugs
  so if you find any please tell me
* the generated mc aren't still perfect (they miss one header and some reserved things) but still they
  work fine with the psp emulator (at least with wild arms 2)
* it's still missing multi block saves support so if you have one of these you wont be able to use this to
  copy your mc
* The generated mc aren't raw dumps but generated starting from the file system. this means that you wont
  be able to undelete saves from your mcs with this like you would do with a dexdrive the data is just missing
* as this CAN format your psx memory card be really carefull with the start button (which is the command
  doing the formattation process)
* if errors happens they wont be reported. so if you can't get this to work altough it seems all went fine
  means you did something wrong.
