cw cheat 0.2.0 by weltall (c) 2007 www.consoleworld.org weltall@consoleworld.org ---------------------------------------------------- ENGLISH ---------------------------------------------------- This is a prx which works under devhook and can cheat every devhook-compatible game under firmware emulation This works trought raw-relative cheat codes like action replay, codebreaker, gameshark, xploder, etc. Other than this, it has support to other function which are usefull for cheat finder and normal users (like battery, cpu/bus clock, devhook version, ms free/total space information) The latest updates are always available on http://www.consoleworld.org and http://weltall.consoleworld.org The latest database version is available from http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/ (main site) If you make a cheat we would like to add it on the main database :) if it's a long cheat or if you have a lot of cheats just contact me :) if you found any bug just report it on mantis: http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/mantis/ This project originally started in march with some simple tests of prx functionality (like loading 1.50 vsh) then with the help of sincro (which developed a loader and a cheat searcher) it evolved in a cheat device. But later in April this was discontinued because I couldn't anymore contact sincro and problems with runumd. Then... devhook with firmware emulation came... and also some prxs appeared... so i decided to take again that project and i ported successfully it to devhook as a builtin prx without any loader (so the old loader was removed from the project) and now it works as a in-game menu and cheat device. ------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION/MANUAL/EASY ------------------------------------------------------------- 1-copy the folders under MS_ROOT (MS_ROOT_371 for 3-71+) in your memory stick ROOT (which is the main folder not the PSP folder) 2-power up your psp while pressing R 3-Select plugins 4-Press X over cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] it will say ENABLED 5-Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME] it will say ENABLED 5-Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME150] it will say ENABLED 6-exit recovery 7-when in game press select for x3 seconds to access the menu(default options which can be changed). ------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION/MANUAL/IF YOU HAVE MORE MODULES ALREADY INSTALLED ------------------------------------------------------------- 1-copy the cwcheat folder in the seplugins folder to have the db installed 2-go to seplugins folder and copy cwcheatpops.prx there (choose the one marked as 371 if you are on 3.71+) 3-open pops.txt with a text editor and add this line: ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx 2-go to seplugins folder and copy cwcheat.prx there (choose the one marked as 371 if you are on 3.71+) 3-open game.txt with a text editor and add this line: ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx 4-if you are on 3.71 you will need to copy the cwcheat.prx for 3.60- if you want to use it on homebrews 4-open game150.txt with a text editor and add this line: ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx (or the name you put to the prx for 3.60- if you are on 3.71+) 5-power up your psp while pressing R 6-Select plugins 7-Press X over cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] it will say ENABLED 8-Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME] it will say ENABLED 9-Press X over cwcheat.prx (or the name you put to the prx for 3.60- if you are on 3.71+) [GAME150] it will say ENABLED 10-exit recovery 11-when in game press select for x3 seconds to access the menu(default options which can be changed). ------------------------------------------------------------- DEVHOOK INSTALLATION/MANUAL [FIRMWARE IS THE FIRMWARE VERSION LIKE 310 303 ...] ------------------------------------------------------------- 1-copy the folders under MS_ROOT in your memory stick ROOT (which is the main folder not the PSP folder) 2-(optional) erase cwcheatpops.prx and cwcheat.prx from the seplugins folder 3-copy cwcheatdh.prx in /dh/(FIRMWARE)/F0/kd/ 4-open the file /dh/(FIRMWARE)/CFG/pspbtcnf_game_dh.txt with a text editor 5-add $/kd/cwcheatdh.prx after $/kd/isofs.prx 6-start devhook and enjoy 7-if there are problems move $/kd/cwcheatdh.prx after $/kd/amctrl.prx 8-when in game press select for x3 seconds to access the menu(default options which can be changed). ------------------------------------------------------ CHANGELOG: 0.2.0 RELEASE ===================== - [ALL] now it's possible to change clock > 222/166 on 3.71+ firmwares. thanks to dark alex. - [ALL] now 3.71+ builds requires 3.71m33-3 or never because of required patches available only from that version - [ALL] changed drive checking method: now it should be almost immediate in the initialization (no more waiting) and even in a more safe way - [ALL] The new drive checking method made possible removing various checks introduced before because they became useless reducing so the prx size - [IRSHELL] Now (in irshell builds) the drive (or emulated one) is checked everytime you open the menu so when you start the game in irshell (or other loaders which works in a similar way) the next time the menu is opened the game db is automatically loaded accordly. - [ALL] fixed an optimization glitch which blocked the usb function from being disabled - [ALL] some code about usb was removed from builds with usb disabled - [ALL] fixed a little glitch which made the cpu frequence option go from 333 to 266 without going trough 300, optimized also a bit the code managing it - [ALL] now when you add a new cheat in the cheat selection menu a number is put after the "NEW CHEAT" name, like if you searched for it - [ALL] Fixed some texts to be more proper and have a better case - [ALL] now never texts are translatable using the classic cwcheat.lng in the cwcheat folder. - [ALL] Added norwegian translation thanks to blackrave - [ALL] Updated italian translation.
