Aldus Gallery Effects Vol. 1

This is Volume 1 of the Aldus Gallery Effects, plug-ins and tools, version 1.0, a set of four 800k floppy disk images. "Disk 1" contains the "Aldus Installer/Utility" which you need to double click to install, optionally up to seven file groups. These are:

Gallery Effects DA will install the Gallery Effects desk accessory, a GE Pouch folder containing the preferences file (GE Prefs), a set of SuperPaint effects in a Classic Art SP folder, and an Image Controls folder that contains the Brightness & Contrast controls as well as the Color Balance controls.

Gallery Effects Application will install the Gallery Effects program, a GE Pouch folder containing the preferences file (GE Prefs), a set of SuperPaint effects in a Classic Art SP folder, and an Image Controls folder that contains the Brightness & Contrast controls as well as the Color Balance controls.

Digital Darkroom Effects will install a Classic Art DD folder containing the effects to be used with Digital Darkroom.

SuperPaint Effects will install a Classic Art SP folder containing the effects to be used with SuperPaint 3.0.

Photoshop Effects will install a Classic Art PS folder containing the effects to be used with Photoshop 1.0 or 2.0.

Gallery Effects Animator will install the Gallery Effects Animator (for processing PICS animation files and multiple PICT files), an external command (XCMD) to access the effects from a SuperCard project or HyperCard stack, a set of SuperPaint effects in a Classic Art SP folder, an Image Controls folder that contains the Brightness & Contrast controls as well as the Color Balance controls, and several instruction files.

Sample Image will install a color sample image.

You are given the option of installing one item, or several, or all. For example, you may only want to install the Gallery Effects Photoshop plugins, "Photoshop Effects".

Architecture: 68k

The Gallery Effects plugins are compatible with Digital Darkroom, Photoshop 1.0 & 2.0 & SuperPaint 3.x. The Photoshop plugins seem to work just fine in Photoshop 3, 4 & 5, also.

The main top (2.57 MB) Download are in Disk Copy 4.2 format. Reconstructed from the "DropBox" link above. I did this, to remove hidden OS X files & folders from the "DropBox" disk image set (which are in ShrinkWrap 3.5 format). Also to create a more backwards compatible with SSW 6, file set, archived using Stuffit 3.6

These plugins will run in Mini vMac, but are only suitable for use in the experimental Mac II color version of Mini vMac.
