All-in-one app for word processing , drawing , painting , spreadsheet , database , communications precursor of AppleWorks.
This copy of ClarisWorks 3.0 is the full installation set containing the option to install a FAT binary (both 68k and PPC code) or the option to install either the 68k version or the PPC version of ClarisWorks 3.0 depending on your hardware.
The download link above contains the full installation disk set of ClarisWorks 3.0CDv1, in Disk Copy 4.2 format and has been compressed with Stuffit 3.5 for better backwards compatibility with older hardware. Not from original media, I've converted the installation set that was originally here, stripping out all hidden OS X files and cleaned the installers up to being almost identical to original floppy disk image files. That is, they can now be written back to floppy media if desired and installed from floppy if necessary. They are also now 68000 Mac friendly - for original Macintosh with 1.44 MB floppy disk drives (SE FDHD or newer).
Download Link working again. Thanks.

This program is suitable for all Macintoshes capable of running System 6.0.7 to Mac OS 9.2.2
Note: The "CDv1" in the Title "ClarisWorks 3.0CDv1" is part of the version number and regional code (Canada?). It doesn't mean it is a CD image
UK dictionaries get installed.

ClarisWorks 3.0 are now available in MVAS (Mini vMac Apps Site).
Link now working. Thanks
s3.amazonaws DL broken again. It was working briefly. Have re-instated alternative DL.
Yeah that´s what I meant eh?
Is that "hey" or "eh"[ay]? Down here in the Antipodes "eh" (pronounced "ay") is added to a lot of sentence endings. Wikipedia has quite a good description of the use of the word "Eh" throughout the world. The difference between Canadian & US English? Not much that I can tell other than Canadians may follow several British spelling conventions in writing English words.
Is there a difference between Canadian and US English?
To me both sound exactly the same (Except for the HilBillies accent and the ´Hey?¨the Canadians say at the end of each phrase )
I've updated the info on this software. It is the full install set for ClarisWorks 3.0 and contains options for installing 68k or PPC only, or FAT installs. - I've been running this one on Basilisk II and Mini vMac and a G4 for a couple of months now. Its an excellent, blazingly fast and lightweight office suite.
[Edit] I've converted and uploaded this set to a more user friendly format (Disk Copy 4.2 and compressed with Stuffit 3.5). I've also removed all of the hidden Mac OS X files that were in the original upload.
Oh silly me I meant the 68000 processor. Somehow I forgot that the others in the same family are also called 68k.
There was probably an installer that made a specific version for each computer, and that's likely what is here instead of the installer. I'm also pretty certain version 4 worked on 68k, as does AppleWorks 5, though at least an '030 or '040.
ClarisWorks 3 was the last version to support the 68k processor and thus the version 68k users will want. This PPC-only file is a slap in the face to all of them. Somebody please upload the real thing.
Apparently the 68k code has been stripped. Will only run on PowerPC and PPC emulators.
