Adding version 4.0 to the ClarisWorks Saga optimized for PowerPC and 68K.
Edit from Sheepmyshaver123: Reuploaded the ClarisWorks 4.0 stuffit file because it works for PPC and 68K, and based off disk images instead of extracted installers.
UPDATES: The 2.42 MB download is the last Apple updates for CW 4.0 (download includes 4.0v5 and 4.0v6 updates)

Good clean installer. Thanks. Great app. I had the 6 original CW 4.0 disks but Disk 6 was corrupted so I couldn't finish install with my disks. Pulled in some ClarisWorks v1.02 documents I created. No issues.
Ignore the serial field, leaving it untouched, as it is, and simply click OK. It doesn't need a serial to work. The serial entry field for ClarisWorks is OPTIONAL.

Very good, I successfully installed ClarisWorks 4.0 on my old Quadra 650. But hou can I register it (otherwise it doesn't work). How can I purchase it?

For sure this is not the publisher. Probably we have in the future separate Buy Links to Amazon (direct link to the game entry) and/or eBay Link fields. Ebay Link fields could hold such direct links like given here, or eBay search links at all.
The recent "Edit 2" comments and "Purchase-This game is still available from its publisher" link to an ebay auction... is this for real? I'd like to remove this SPAM before too long. Any objections?
I've updated this application to make work for 68030 and 68040 systems and replacing the old one.
This was my favorite version of Claris/AppleWorks, even if the newer versions were technically superior. CW4 was fast and easy to use.
Let me explain myself. ClarisWorks--up to version 5 when it became AppleWorks--was a fat binary, that is an application compiled with both PPC and 68k code so it could run on both kind of Macs. The version posted here is incomplete because the 68k code was removed with an utility like Strip fat. What I'm asking is the original, fat version. That's it.
Well I've checked both versions ClarisWorks 3 for 68k and Clarisworks 4 for PPC (this one)
and I didn't found any real difference, as a matter of fact both have the same limitations,
for example if you try to print out a calendar, from the Stationary Wizard, they don't go past 1999
neither of them, Also I thought the Presentations App was just in v4.0, but the v3 also has it.
basically, Uploaded it so we could available have the FULL collection of ClarisWorks,
and because it wasn't posted.
