Consulair |
This is the historic Consulair Mac C system. It was the first C compiler available for the original Mac, written by the author of Apple's MDS 68000 assembler and designed to be compatible with it. It includes an editor, c compiler and assembler, linker-librarian, a copy of Exec and RMaker, and a small library of standard c functions. The Consulair utilities, including SuperMake, Diff, and Grep are included. This is version 5 of the development system, and is HFS compatible. The key to HFS compatibility is the path resource, which tells the applications where to find applications, source, library, and object files. The paths resource is configured for your directory tree using a utility that is included. Some instructions on setting up paths are included.
There are 5 files in this stuffit v4 archive. 4 of them are images of 400k MFS disks. These are images of the original Consulair disks. The 5th is an image of an 800k HFS disk. It has the applications.

reloaded.
The disk images seem to be unreadable with Systems 6, 8 and 10 for me too.
I have been unsuccessful in mounting any of the disk images. Each program I have used claims they are corrupted. Can someone verify this and/or re-upload them?
