I think the authorization disk reads/uses the serial number of the hard drive to generate an invisible authorization file. Thus preventing the owner from simply dubbing the install from one hard drive to another.
So there is probably no way to run this on a virtual machine.
This is a very old version. I doubt it would run on anything above 8.1.
Version 3 was the last OS 9/Classic version - so that would be the thing to look for if you are running 9.2.2.
The Master disk contains the Installation application. It also comes with a Authorize/De-Authorize application, which complains about not finding an SCSI or IDE hard disk as boot volume within my test environment inside SheepShaver, so I can't determine how to run this app w/o crashing.
how about some installation instructions??
i see a bunch of diskcopy images..
i cant get this to run without it crashing
is it possible its incompatible with mac os 9.2?
