I think also it's some type of conflict.
Perhaps. You would need to test this on Sheepshaver with an OW ROM to get a better opinion. I no longer use the NW ROM in sheep to test.
I'd stopped using a NW ROM , mostly because the OW ROM boots sheep onto earlier Mac OS's (7.5.3 the earliest PPC OS in sheep for me so far).
[Edit] I decided to try it out on a NW ROM, "Mac OS ROM Update 1.0" running Mac OS 8.6 - it seems to work OK for me on this ROM, too. Perhaps there is a conflict on your system with the Microsoft extensions that get installed with the Duden software?
Thanks for your comments, folks.
Probably not compatible to my New World ROM setup in Sheep?
About the example, abandonnieren:
first part is the well-known Non-German word, second part of the word is typical German suffix.
@IIGS_User: This runs OK for me in SheepShaver. OW ROM, Mac OS 8.6
I don't understand the language sadly, but enough to be able to see its running 100% OK on this Sheep.
[Edit] Also installs and appears to run OK on SheepShaver; OW ROM, Mac OS 9.0.4
Pardon my ignorance of this language. But at least I have learnt a few important basic words now... especially the word Hilfe
Ooh... (another edit)
abandonnieren
a|ban|don|nie|ren: abtreten, verzichten, preisgeben, aufgeben (von Rechten bei Aktien u. Seefracht)
Thanks IIGS_User, this is nice.
Thanks for your work comrade, us German users do appreciate the uploaded dictionaries very much, I dare say.
Like the other PC Bibiothek titles, I can't run this in Sheep.
But unlikely, even if the system requirements tell this is a PowerPC-only title, it runs in Bas as well (if Mac OS 7.5.1 or newer has been installed before) .
