With Preflight Pro, you can quickly identify and solve prepress problems, eliminating incomplete files and wasted film.

• A few new features:
  • Preflight Pro now inspects and collects documents created with the Japanese version of QuarkXPress.
  • Preflight Pro now works with Adobe Acrobat Exchange or Reader to inspect Acrobat PDF (portable document format) files.
  • Preflight Pro's Profile files and PDF Settings files can be password-protected, so users can not edit them.
  • In the General Preferences dialog, you can choose to view common colors in other languages.

Preflight Pro works with QuarkXPress, Adobe Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Macromedia FreeHand, and Multi-Ad Creator2.

Preflight Pro 2.1.1 requires:

• A Power Macintosh or equivalent
• Mac OS System Software 7.5 or higher
• QuarkXPress 3.3.2 or newer (for inspecting QuarkXPress documents)
• Adobe PageMaker 6.5 or newer (for inspecting PageMaker documents)
• Adobe Acrobat Exchange or Reader 3.0.1 or newer (for inspecting Acrobat PDF documents)
• Adobe Acrobat Distiller 3.0 or newer (for creating Acrobat PDF documents)
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, or Creator2 is not required to inspect their respective document formats.
