Autodesk Animator was a animation and painting program created in 1989 by Yost Group for Autodesk and ran on a PC with Microsoft DOS.The program was considered to be groundbreaking in the field of computer animation when it was initially released, and was very popular in the late 1980s and the early 1990s. Eventually development on the product ended and it was no longer supported.
The download includes some FLI´s collected between 1992 and 1994.

No probs. Its good to track down where a problem lies, anyway.
Watch out for that stick. I just lost 8GB of data, mostly portable apps on a dying USB drive... It was giving me a few clues but I didn't act on them in time. The programs were backed up but I lost a bit of transient data and some files.
Thanks, MikeTomTom, for your comprehensive testing of this. I transferred another copy and it uncompressed without incident. I had already downloaded it twice with the same bad result as previous, so I think the fault may have been with a dodgy sector on the USB stick that I use to take the file to my G3.
Uncompresses OK for me without error. Basilisk II, '030 CPU, SSW 7.1.1, Stuffit Expander 5.5 - As yet, I haven't tried this archive on other systems.

This uncompresses with an error message. Very disturbing. I don't trust the result.
