This is the PostScript follow-up to the bitmapped Fluent Fonts. These fonts are believed to be in the public domain now and are available from FontSpace. The first archive is of a 1990 release and includes documentation. The second archive is "Library 2," apparently also copyrighted 1990, but was found without docs. It is believed some of these fonts first were published several years earlier by CasadyWare.

One of the developers has a site with a few notes and examples here: RaccoonBend.com

There were also "Eastern European" and "Glasnost" libraries available; anyone in possession of these, please let us know on this page.

No, I don't think that was Casady & Greene, that was someone else who published el cheapo font collections and got sued.

It was Softkey. I think Casady & Greene actually had their first fonts out before Adobe!

I believe this company was sued for simply scanning Adobe fonts, and converting with a new name. The kerning is crappy, and points to a shoddy creation method. If you wanted "barely passable" copies of Adobe fonts, this was your only option (without reverting to piracy).
