FoxBASE+/Mac was the Macintosh release of Fox Software's database program. Early on, this program had easily captured a majority of that Macintosh database market. It was also the first cross-platform xBase tool, as it was also available for MS-DOS and SCO Xenix. Microsoft bought Fox Software in 1992, turning Fox Software's FoxPro into Visual FoxPro, which still exists today.
