The TrueType version of "Garamond Narrow" originates from the Color StyleWriter 4000 Installer. It is the Bitstream, Inc. version of ITC Garamond Narrow which was released in the Apple Font Pack circa 1992. Please note, this is not "Apple Garamond," which was never officially released to the public, but it is basically identical. (It's my understanding that the genuine Apple Garamond was a PostScript font with custom hinting. Refer to the internet.)

This archive also contains a PostScript Type 1 conversion of the TrueType Garamond Narrow, which has ugly character hinting, but plays better with Adobe Illustrator 3. (It is not an official release of the font.)

I remember this Font Pack was available shortly when I started to use Macintosh computers, but never bought this Pack.
