GS/OS is an operating environment developed by Apple Computer for its Apple IIGS personal computer that uses the ProDOS filing system. It provides facilities for accessing the file system, controlling input/output devices, loading and running program files, and a system allowing programs to handle interrupts and signals. GS/OS was included as a component of Apple IIGS System Software versions 4.0 through 6.0.1.
These disks are downloadable from the Apple Site, but were compressed using a Classic Mac OS application, which doesn't run under OS X (Sheepshaver not counting). I extracted these on my iMac G3 so people who don't have the Classic OS can use them. This works with most IIGS emulators, including Kegs32, Bernie ][ the Rescue and Sweet 16.

Hehe.
Can't control that. If it is not here, it will be uploaded again...
I like it!
Looks like Atari GEM or FreeGEM/OpenGEM
It doesn't hurt having this program here,
but if some of you are really Picky (dick) as someone else said,
then the NEXTSTEP, RHAPSODY, MK Linux, A/UX and a few other software I've found,
shouldn't be here as well.
nonetheless, I have not seen any complain over those programs.
Althought I'm an Apple ][GS User, I agree with MacinTricks.
I don't mean to be a dick, but this is clearly Apple II software (which I LOVE), but doesn't really apply here.
Yes.
But because it is not Mac related, no one should download it from there to upload it here.
Don't you mean this?: http://lostclassics.apple2.info/downloads/?dl_cat=16
I still wait for someone to upload AppleWriter, a text processor application for Apple ][ computers...
(do not take this seriously)
