Mount imovie.img and copy to hd it's content. No install needed.

Opening that from image will give you an error.

Won't let me install, it says "The given source is not a valid image file. -- iMovie.img"

Apple gave this away on their site some years ago. It was a 19mb or so download called iMovie_1.0.2.smi.bin. Would be nice to have the complete original download archived here.
