iTunes is Apple's popular software for mp3 playback, listening to internet radio stations etc.
Not much use with emulators, but if you've got old Macs this software is invaluable and increasingly hard to find.
A note about the downloads above:

Is there a native OS X version available?
I add the French and Italian vertion of iTunes 2.0.4,note to instal these you need the French or Italian OS 9,
hmm there seems to be no settings to tell it to use your seperate sound card? i suppose id have to change my soundmanager default device to get to play over my speakers?
YES! THANK YOU!
I remember that simple "AppleCD Audio" application just to play audio CDs
(and, on Mac OS X, I miss it).
Though, there is no need to upload the AppleCD Audio application separately, as it's part of classic Mac OS installation.
Yes, it would be nice to have an "iTunes basic" for mp3 playback and internet radio. I don't need no bloated 90 MB iTunes. But tell that Apple...
Guessing C, to make it easy to compile similar versions for Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit, Mac OS Intel, Mac OS PPC.
New features ? yeah, that would be the iTunes Store and support for iPod Touch, iPhone(
, iPad, AppleTV, TV Shows and Movies, AudioBooks, Cover Flow View, PodCasts, iPod Games, Shared Libraries, Parental Controls, Disc Burning and countless others, Show Duplicate Tracks being one of the best.
I understnd your point though, and for most of us, all we really want from it is to be able to juggle our mp3's.
I find it amazing how iTunes 2 is less than a 5 MB download, while iTunes 10 is almost a 90 MB download. Pretty disgusting, in my opinion. I know it has more features than iTunes 2, but I find it hard to believe there are that many more. Anyone know what language it's developed with?
@PJAMA:
I may be wrong, but I'm afraid there will be no patch if the app is relying on carbon lib.
You will have to install 9.0.4 or better, or like attila said, try Audion or SoundJam.
SoundJam was later purchased by Apple and is now iTunes.
Thanks for that one.
After crashing SheepShaver three times, it seems to work now.
MacOS is 9.0.4 host system is Mandriva 2010.
All audio files from my Ext4, NTFS or FAT volumes play, audio streams are working too.
I've only seen a patch for version 1.1 of iTunes. SoundJam and Audion work nicely with OS 8.6.
is there a patch to get this working on mac os 8.6?
