I think Apple took lessons from Adobe
That legal info regarding Adobe suing ever font designer in the world was a real eye opener.
I thought Apple invented suing everyone on the planet!
I can't see that happening, macjames. These fonts are about 20 years old and need to be archived.
This very set also happens to be the 1st set of fonts I ever purchased. Yikes that long ago
My motivation to upload this was the missing CD for the other keyfonts one. I don't have the CD, so i put the floppies instead. However if this has to be removed please by all means remove it.
Personally, I wouldn't remove unless requested to do so. Probably wait until Agfa stops suing Adobe and Adobe stops suing Linotype & counter suing Agfa etc etc etc over font plagiarizing 1st before worrying too much about Key Fonts.
Besides I think the Softkey lawsuits have ended and settled. i.e. they've paid their dues.
Here's a good little read
Hi macjames. I think these need to be taken down immediately, due to the lawsuit between Linotype and ITC regarding all these fonts being straight copies of Adobe etc. offerings.
There is a good write up elsewhere on the forum here (with links). These are pretty nasty copies too, missing diacriticals etc. and no kerning data.
Just a thought...
