IF U HAVE MORE THEN 1GB RAM IN YOUR MAC THIS PROGRAM WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY.
you have to physically remove the extra ram if u have problems with audio playing from the arrange window in order for it to function properly.. u must have 1gb exactly or less ram.
can anyone tell me what the difference between this and the 4.7 logic is... because this 4.04 should still have an asio driver folder shouldnt it? yet it doesnt have a place to put the asio driver... has anyone used this software successfully?
I was an imbecile. I've infected accidentally my iBook with Logic 4. Short story: I tried to corrupt the extension "[]666" with ResEdit... after a restart BOOM! The Bomb Panic appeared.
It's a luck I can restore an old version of Mac OS 9 without losing any information.
hmm is there no ASIO support on this version?? i cant even see a asio driver folder or settings within the app.. Im looking for a version of logic that will work with rewire as 4.7 crashes when i try to load reason v1 - im pretty sure this was a documented issue.. anyone know anything?
@To anyone concerned: If you had downloaded Audio Logic Platinum 4.0.4 from this page on or before 2013/07/25 and had extracted and run this software on a classic Mac OS, its probable that your system has been compromised by the "666" virus a.k.a SevenDust.
My advice is, that you run the classic anti-vir software: Virex 6.1 over your system to eradicate this virus. You need to also use the 2007 defs (included) with Virex 6.1 to successfully identify and clean 666 from your system.
The Audio Logic Platinum 4.0.4 file that was here before the above date was infected with the 666 virus. It has since been removed and replaced by a cleaned virus-free copy above, 2013/07/25 AEST.
