Mac OS 8.1 Pre-releases (Bride of Buster)
This is the beta version of Mac OS 8.1 codename "Bride of Buster". It was the first steps of usage of HFS+ file system.
Really thanks to Mitrokhin for creating images for Apple betas and uploaded them to MediaFire. The images are not bootable (some of them are bootable) so you need the pre-installed copy of Mac OS or boot disk and install them on the hard drive. And please don't upgrade from the stable version of Mac OS to this unstable beta version. And thanks to Forcedperfect for the pictures of Mac OS betas.

Since it was beta, it is not possible to run pre-release editions of OS 8.1 in 68040, just use PPC Macintosh/clone with Mac OS 8.0.
Note If installing this on SheepShaver, avoid running the Mac OS Setup Assistant that runs when you boot up for the 1st time. Exit out of it when it 1st launches, ignoring warnings that you haven't finished setting up. This wizard causes SheepShaver to crash. You can manually configure your user settings in the Control Panels after it boots up, without re-invoking the wizard.
