White Pine Software |
Mac240 allows a Macintosh to emulate either a DEC VT240 text and graphics terminal or the Tektronix 4010/4014 graphics terminals. The application handles DEC's ReGIS graphics instruction set and other standard features of the VT240 and VT125 graphics terminals. It lets users access both the text and graphics capabilities of software running on DEC VAX and PDP computers. Graphics, tables and text generated with host-based software can be displayed on the Mac and, if desired, integrated into Mac documents, spreadsheets and other applications. (Edited from various sources on the internet.)

I seem to recall using this to access an IBM mainframe (to replace a DEC terminal after I bought my first Mac) but that may have been via a front-end PDP machine…too long ago to remember exactly. I no longer have the User Manual, so if anyone has a copy, can they please scan it and upload here to complete the archive.
