The application is from 1982 -- however the site wouldn't allow a date prior to 1984 
Alternatively you can follow the Purchase link to find a (older style) binhex copy of it. You may need http://iubio.bio.indiana.edu:7131/soft/util/mac/binhex.macbin to properly unbinhex it.

Nice attempt, but you should sit that before.
Having the stuff archived within .img is more future-proof, I think.
I uploaded a version of the program which is an image file you can load directly into Mini vMac. It's called MacDemo.img. Made it with Disk Copy 4.2 selected as the output type. Runs nicely. Not too fast.
I also used the same file under SheepSaver in OS9. Ran so fast in OS9 on my MacBook Pro you could barely make out the objects.
Outstanding illustration of early trial programs. And to see Hertzfeld name. I ran it on my IIsi under OS 6.0.8 and under 7.0.1. Kind of fun to watch.
That was my intention, because the Macintosh hardware has been published the first time in 1984.
That's quite a rare find there (I've been using it with Mini vMac variation 20, original 128k mac, system .85 (Dec 1983)) - the Apple menu logo isn't Apple - The application would have been used for development and testing of the new system.
