Perhaps after the 3rd edition the CD producers decided to stack subsequent releases with "stocking fillers" as well as the book, hoping to entice a wider audience? - The book itself is the important item.
This looks correct, the contents and size of the 3rd edition image matches what's on my CD.
I just uploaded what looks like the 3rd edition of Mac SECRETS. I got it from this torrent that I recently found. However, the image seems a bit small for a CD of shareware/freeware. So if anyone has the physical CD, please image it and replace my upload of the 3rd edition.
The 36MB PDF provides nearly infinite information on the Mac operating systems 1.0 through 8.X in addition to serving as a significant guide to the features/using the Mac. Worth downloading the 5th edition just to get the PDF.
Please upload CDs for other editions to this page
