"Mathcad is computer software primarily intended for the verification, validation, documentation and re-use of engineering calculations." --Wikipedia.org
This archive contains disk images of version 3.1, and pictures of the disks and the manual's cover. The manual has not been scanned for inclusion, considering its 400-page length and the low likelihood of anyone using it. Current versions of this software are still available for Windows.
Second DL is with NDIF read only images added compressed with Stuffit3.6.

Thanks 24bit, for the screenshots etc. And there's no such thing as "only a simple" biologist!
Myself being only a simple biologist, I still do have a faint idea what such a software could do for you.
The non FPU version works with the Shaver, but its a bit sluggish at quitting. MathCad comes with epic manuals to be run from inside the app. BasiliskII seems to run the FPU version, but freezes at shutting down the program for me.
@ wlewisiii: Its an old story, you can usually get around the xml error by choosing "Upload a screenshot or edit this page" and download it there.

"When .zip archives are opened (in OS 9 or earlier) using StuffIt Expander, the file type and creator information will be missing. This does not harm the functionality of the disk images other than that they cannot be opened by double-clicking unless something like an AutoTyper is used to restore the information. Emulators do not have problems using images without the info., nor do most disk imaging programs if you select the image via their 'open file' menu. Only DiskDup+ will not open an image without its file type and creator info.; an AutoTyper is included in the DiskDup+ archive to make restoring that info. easy for those who may want it."

And when you're asking for help on the site, please provide information such as what machine and operating system you are using, and how exactly you tried to use the archive.
The zip archive probably damaged the images. However, DMG Mechanic (available on MacGarden) will fix this: Just drag the images over DMG Mechanic and Disk Copy 6.5 will be able to mount them.
DiskDup does not seem to recognize the .dsk images.
Well of course now I'm not able to get the disk images to mount. Has anyone else had success?
Thanks!
Not your fault. It's a system-dependent limitation.
I wish I knew why I keep getting XML errors of late. Can someone put another link on mega?
Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for the external link. Time to fire up the SE/30
Excellent. For those here that see the site is about preserving abandonware, it's a fantastic addition.
This one is beyond me, and not likely to be useful to anyone other than for posterity, so if anyone would like to try to get it running and post screenshots, feel free to do so. I've posted everything I know about it.
