Emulation
This app works with: Basilisk II,

"Mulberry is a powerful, easy to use electronic mail (email) program that allows you to send, access, and manage email. To ensure maximum compatibility with existing mail servers, Mulberry uses Internet standard protocols such as IMAP and POP3 for reading mail messages, SMTP for sending mail messages, MIME for sending and receiving attachments within messages, IMSP and ACAP for storage of preferences and address books on a remote server, and LDAP for address lookups."

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

I've only used this on Basilisk II (build 142). It gets 5 stars from me in that area - I have no doubt that this will run just as well on SheepShaver (or on an actual Macintosh, 68k or PPC) Wink

The specs for Mulberry v2.x claim that it will run on any Macintosh and it is a FAT application running native on either 68k Mac or PPC. But its RAM requirement is a minimum of 4200 KB which would negate this applications use on a 68000 Mac such as a Plus or an SE or on Mini vMac emulating either of those CPU's. YMMV

How does this compare to something like Eudora?

Not sure, I haven't used Eudora since my 68k Mac days and it was only the "lite" pop-mail version that I used at the time (I stopped using it when they introduced adware versions of Eudora). This version of Mulberry sends and receives IMAP mail from my Basilisk II set-up, running Mac OS 7.1.1, so its worth it to me, for that reason alone. However it would also run on an actual Mac II or better, Macintosh. It comes with a comprehensive manual (above link).

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' by 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User
