The last official version released was 2.7b4. NCSA do not know about the version 2.7b5 that is often referred to as the last one.
NCSA Telnet is, as the name suggests, a Telnet client for the Mac. It also supports rudimentary FTP client support, in which you have to manually type all commands, and an FTP server.
