-----

Newton OS was the operating system for the Apple Newton PDAs produced by Apple from 1993 - 1997. Newton OS was written entirely in C++ and trimmed to be low power consuming and use the available memory efficiently. Much like the first Apple Macintosh a lot of applications were written in the ROM of the Newton to save DRAM and flash space for user applications.

Euryale, could you please zip/stuff your directory and post/email it to me?

I have NEVER had this working, ever - and the app is 3 years old I believe. Will I need to force it onto one core?

Any help greatly appreciated... really!

I have it on my Toshiba 2.66Mhz P-4 running Windows XP
and there's no "fool-proof" way to make it work,
it's very simple and it runs nice and fast on my Laptop, but as I said,
it messes up my Audio.

I have only got this emulator working once - ACCIDENTALLY, and it was so slow (on a dual-core 3.0GHz AMD, as to make it unusable. If anyone knows a foolproof way of getting this to work - pls share it in the comments.

I can't believe there isn't a version that works in the old Mac OS. You'd think Apple would have had one just for a development kit or something.

It works,
but when I used it, it messed up my sound Drivers
leaving my Amplitube and my Fender Strat (which I plug into my Laptop directly) unusable,
So I had to re install my Sound drivers again.

and I haven't use it since,
(anyway, I have my Apple Newton Clone "Sharp Expert Pad" to play around with it )
