This advanced image control software offers Nikon Capture 3.0 and Nikon View 5.0 , versatile image adjustment features, camera control and a batch processing function.
Main Features:
* Various image adjustments provided: Brightness, Contrast and Color balance.
RAW data adjustments: White Balance control, Tone compensation, Color mode, Sharpening, and more.
Vignetting at peripheral areas is automatically compensated.
* Batch processing automatically converts images.
* Camera control function is available with D1-series models via IEEE1394 interface and with the D100 via USB 1.1 interface.
* Nikon's original NEF (.nef) file allows you to make as many adjustments as you like without affecting the original image.
* New features include Color Noise reduction, Edge Noise reduction and Saturation control.
* Direct printing of single images possible.
* You can transfer and store large amounts of image data, including RAW data, directly to your computer; no media cards needed.

I you not have this camera, its useless for you.
Nikon's Camera Control Pro and Camera Control Pro 2 are the choice tools for controlling the camera and taking shots from your Mac. Like hinted at, works over USBv1.1 too. Alas CCP2, which I use with my Nikons, is by no means abandonware yet.
