OS9 DAW Software Kit - Pro Tools, Plugins, TDM, RTAS, VST, Audiosuite, MAS

This is an iso image of a CD that was obtained on eBay many years ago. It contains almost any application that you would need to set up a DAW in OS9.

These applications will be uploaded separately onto Macintosh Garden. This download exists so you can get all you need in one place.

The ISO image is contained in the spanned ZIP file. Burn the ISO to a cd or mount with toast.

Here is the original instruction text file included on the CD:

First: install the Aladdin expander 5.1.2 located in the stuff/unstuff directory.

For tdm plugins drag the plugin sits to hard drive unstuff and drop the plugin in the plugins folder located in the dae folder located in the system folder. Some of the plugin sits will have preset folders drop them in the plugin settings folder located in the dae folder. A few of the plugins have already been unstuffed.

Digital performer Plugins unstuff and drop plugins in motu/ plugins folder go to system folder then extension folder and you'll find the motu folder.

Waves gold bundle:!!!!! Before you install if you have been using a previous version of waves delete it off your computer and especially delete your waves preferences and dae preferences in the preferences folder.
Waves Gold bundle: unstuff waves 2.8sit and unstuff the wave key 1.35, drop wave key emu 1.35 in control panels folder, then go to the apple icon far left, go to control panel and hit wave key emu and turn it on.then go back to the unstuffed waves 2.8 (k) folder, drag the folder titled waves on to your main hardrive, then go to the waveshell folder and drag and drop the waveshell dae into the plugin folder in the dae folder. the folder titled waves that you put on your main harddrive has all the plugins in it, I always delete the audio tracks plugin because I can never get the serial number to work. Restart your computer
Run pro Tools you'll see a screen, check don't ask again and hit 2.3 mode
Then it will ask to locate waves plugin folder, locate it, highlight it and click choose allittle w will spin around for awhile why it writes prefrences and you done,
Remember the more Plugins you use the more ram your dae needs.
P.s the waveshell p is for premire plugins programs and mas is for digital performer

(REBIRTH)Find the rebirth rb-338 1.5 sit unstuff it and put it on desktop
unstuff rebirth 1.5 K sit you will see a rebirth icon with a key above it double click it, it will ask you to find the rebirth icon (the first one you unstuffed) find it highlight it, click open, click save, click cheers. On your dessktop drag the rebirth icon down a inch and you will find a rebirth icon underneath trash that one and keep the other double click and the program works

for 2.0 run install and the use the 2.0 patch

Fusion vocode. As sit unstuff the plugin sit then hit the install when its done go to your program if it dosent show up in the plugins do file find and locate vocode.as file and drag it to the dae plugins folder. Do file find and find vocode. Pr file and this one goes in the premire plugins folder, that's if your using a premire audio program. When you open up a program and select the plugin it will ask for the serial number(701-100-00010600) and a registration code(268585) and your good to go.

Installing digital performer, unstuff the patch and install sit. Then double click the patch, it will ask you to find the install digital performer 2.5 find it and highlight it and then hit patch, when its done patching just go to install digital performer and double click and it will install.
