The Control Panel "Macintosh PC Exchange", or short "PC Exchange", enables you to exchange documents between Macintoshes and DOS computers, using DOS formatted floppies.
When "Macintosh PC Exchange" is installed on your Mac, you can read from and write to DOS formatted floppies.
Being sold separately when Mac OS 7.0 to 7.1.1 were current, it is part of Mac OS 7.5 and newer.
Install this Control Panel like you would install other Control Panels, simply by dragging it onto the System Folder (must be blessed to work this way). The Finder will ask you whether you want to copy the Control Panel into the Control Panels folder, click the "OK" button.

Comments
I have now uploaded English language version 1.0.1 as well.
Thanks for adding the English version
The German version says, it's version 1.0.1
Added the English language version from the same era (ver. 1)
Back in the days, I've used SoftPC to run DOS games, but that was the only I've seen from DOS personal computers.
This Control Panel enables you to initialize floppies in DOS format.
I did not use the file mapping window much in the days of yonder.
Very useful was the option to load a Mac driver for DOS removables at a given SCSI-ID, e.g 40MB Syquest cartridges.
The system extensions for DOS floppies were loaded at boot and just worked, methinks.
We had a Mac, after all.
The first screenshot above shows the main window of Macintosh PC Exchange.
The three buttons in the bottom area of the window will initiate the following commands:
"Anlegen..." means "Create...", "Ändern.." means "Change...", and "Löschen" means "Delete".
Please note that "Löschen" isn't completed with three points at the end ("..."),
so this command probably will not ask whether you want to perform this step, it just will run.
