Comments
@joshlac: Phew
Thanks for confirming it boots the iBook G3 as well as the QS 2002, too.
Thanks, but unfortunately the Quicksilver doesn't boot from universal 9.2.2 either. The CD is burned ok as other Mac (iBook G3) boots from it just fine. On Quicksilver I only get grey floppy icon with blinking question mark

EDIT:
The CD drive was the issue, someone before me installed non-Apple CD drive, so I installed Apple one from another G4 and it works, boots without the problem
@joshlac: If you're still getting nowhere with this, you might want to try the Mac OS 9.2.2 universal install CD, it is a bootable System 9.2.2 installer CD that works with most (USB 1.1, firewire 400) G3 & G4's.
The Mac OS 9.2.2 - Install Disk.iso doesn't boot
I've Quicksilver 2002 800Mhz model.
Any idea why it doesn't work for me?
The eMac 9.2.2 disk will work fine on a Quicksilver (or anything earlier capable of booting in 9.2).
Not so sure about the MDD machines.
Good Job!
It's definitely 9.2.2 and presumably from a Quicksilver 2002.
Yeeesss
Finally! My MDD System Folder install is a bit unreliable. Been Googling for this every so often. Will let you know if it works, and if it does I'll try and archive the OS 9 and application discs somewhere a bit sturdier..
why you all rely on mega-imminent-takedown-notice-uploadbyte sites is beyond me.. o_O
It would be nice to have a copy of this archived - shame about the torrent only link
I don't think this site is a description site for Piratebay download links.
