Different QuickTime 4.x versions to be installed on classic Mac OS versions.

A note about the downloads available above:

The first download above includes english version of QuickTime 4,
Mac versions 4.0.3 (68k) and 4.1.2 (PowerPC),
as well as versions 4.0 and 4.1.2 for Windows operating system.
The 2nd download above includes german version of QuickTime 4,
Mac version 4.1.2 (PowerPC), as well as version 4.1 for Windows operating system.
The 3rd and 4th downlaod above contains separate install folders for 4.0.3 68K (for Basilisk and System 7) and 4.1.2 PPC (for Sheepshaver). No need for Toast - just download, decompress and install.
The 5th download above contains the QuickTime 4.1 Showcase PC/Mac-CD (German)

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

Motorola processor type 68020 or newer,
Mac OS 7.1.1 or newer,
8 MB RAM to be used with 68k processor types,
16 MB RAM to be used with PowerPC processor types.

SheepShaver cannot use version 4.0 (except 4.1.x)

Added separate 4.0.3 and 4.1.2 files.
Toast not needed - just some form of Stuffit Expander.

4.0.3 recommended for System 7 and Basilisk
4.1.2 is the highest version that works in SheepShaver.
