Home users can get a taste of what real page layout is all about without paying a penny. Within a frames-based environment text, graphics, spreadsheets, charts, and tables are combined to create complete documents. RagTime offers typographic controls, color separations, unlimited master pages, automatic generation of table of contents and index, and footnotes management along with spreadsheet calculations. The Inventory Window for viewing and working with all components of a document is a great feature. For those users who want to do page layout, this is an excellent free option.

so I recently installed 5.6.4 on a Titanium running Panther (yeah yeah I know - the Classic version is better - fear not - that's on the Classic partition) - anyhoo, there does not seem to be a way to get a "registration code" anymore (this is the free for non-commercial use version but still needs to be unlocked)

have done a quick scour of the usual places but nothing is popping up - help anyone?

ps - the workaround I'm using is to export as eps (not blocked) and open in Gimpshop - clunky but works

Even if you do not use this as a DPT tool RagTime has a very good Word 2001 import filter, which is much better than MacLinkPlus 11, or the Microsoft plug-in for Word 5.1a.
