Am I missing something? I downloaded this, but the program won't accept the serial number given on the page. I'm running it under Leopard 10.5.8, but this shouldn't really make a difference.
I found this program here. I'm using it every day (see www.v2krobot.com). It's one of the greatests stuffs here. Unfortunately, you can't debug it on Linux. There's a strange mistake in linking the Linux version. Sometimes it will link incorrectly. When the program starts up, then it shows assertion boxes. I make this problem go away by linking it with REALbasic 5.5.3 for Windows. There's also an obscure error with threads. The default stack size is 64 K on Mac, 904 K on Windows and 16 K on Linux. This causes a crash on Linux if the Run is not really simple. You can change the stack size to 64 K before calling Run.

So have you re-uploaded them yet? Or have they just gone bad again already? The mediafire links above are no good as of this date. (and of course, the megaupload ones are long dead.) Mediafire says: Invalid or deleted file.
I'm especially interested in any and all plugins. Realsoft has utterly abandoned the PPC. Thanks.
@Mascot Tom: re-uploading them now
The links no longer work. (for obvious reasons.) If anyone still has the archive, please re-up the software from another file host.
Link corrected. Thanks also for this tutorial, it looks much more detailed.
Thanks for updating it! Two of the links are the same though, maybe a copy & paste error?
Here is a great tutorial that once was a regular column in the early 2000s. It goes step-by-step, starting with explaining the IDE to more challenging programming tasks in the later editions. That makes it very useful even for people who do not have a programming background. Highly recommend it!
