No FPU recognized in Sheepshaver.
In order to run this in Basilisk II with a 68040 processor, make sure you turn the caches off.
Comments
It always seems to be out of memory, even when trying to run edit. I gave it 12 MBs for Application, 2MB Delta Cache, 1MB EMS, 2MB Extended. It only has 200K conventional memory, and I can't run anything.
Does an FPU appear in SheepShaver if PowerFPU is installed?
Mmm,
The disk images appear fine,
the original archive uncompresses with: the OSX built-in BOMArchiveHelper, Stuffit Expander v7.0.3 and Stiffit Expander v5.5.
The two disk images in the archive mount successfully in: the OSX Built-in DiskImageMounter, OSX Disk Utility and Disk Copy v6.3.3. They do choke on ShrinkWrap v3.5.1 tho'.
Disk 2 contains a Stuffit v1.5.1 (I remember those days) archive, which uncompresses fine in everything I tried. I'm not sure that you need to uncompress it though.
i have the same problem then i try to open img files with disk copy and it fails to mount it because it keeps saying the files are corrupt?
We could stop using DOSBox and continue run DOS games with this emulator inside Basilisk now.
But, this is the first PC emulator I've used to play DOS games and the reason why I buyed a PowerBook 190cs (with color capabilities thought) at its time.
I also installed Windows 3.1 successful inside it, later versions of SoftPC (is this one the 'Universal' or the 'Pro' version?) has been branded SoftWindows in different versions, SoftWindows first and later SoftWindows 95, based on the original Windows 95 code.
well, i just copied the data from the second img to an actual floppy, and that worked okay.
ack, never mind, you have to mount it with StuffIt.
How do you get the installer to recognize disk 2?
What do I do with those .img files? Disk Copy doesn't want to open them, I assume they are disk image files?
