SpeedyFinder7 is a Control Panel that enhances functions of the Mac OS 7 Finder. For example, it can speed up copying, remove the delay when renaming files, empty the Trash fast, and automatically resolve Aliases for Get Info, among other features. It won the 1993 US MacUser award for Shareware utilities.

Version 1.5.9i was the last release of SpeedyFinder7 before it was incorporated into Aladdin Desktop Tools. On March 15, 1995, unregistered copies of SpeedyFinder7 expired (registered copies did not expire).

Two copies of SpeedyFinder7 v1.5.9i are provided here: one unregistered and one registered. The registered copy enables the Copying Options and has no expiry date. SpeedyFinder7 works with Mac OS 7.0 to 7.5.1. Instructions on how to create your own registered copy are enclosed.
