Spyglass Transform 2.1/View 2.1/Format 1.11

The Spyglass suite of programs Transform, View and Format were the first Macintosh applications "capable of transforming large sets of scientific data into complex color visualizations that users can easily manipulate" (InfoWorld 26 Feb 1990, page 36). Transform converts arrays of floating-point data into images, while View allows users to interactively edit color image tables and animations and create contour plots (from InfoWorld 3 Sep 1990, page 89). Transform accepts AppleEvents, enabling Transform commands to be run from other applications such as Hypercard. Scripting makes it possible to batch process data files to create animations. Format creates presentation quality layouts of Spyglass images and advanced animations. The download contains Disk Copy 4.2 images. Unpack the download with MacZip.
