This version of StuffIt Deluxe has a smaller footprint than later versions, and is very stable running in Mac OS 7. The downside is that it's pretty slow, having no PowerPC code.

- Magic Menu [enables self extracting archive (.sea) capability]
- StuffIt Expander
- DropStuff with ExpanderEnhancer
- DropConvert
- DropCompress

Second DL added for use with emulators e.g. MiniVMac.

I don't believe this version includes PPC code.
Please check with NativeChecker.

I'm guessing that this version works on OS 8 and 9, but I don't know for sure. Feel free to update this page if you know.

[Edit] To create Self Extracting Archives, be sure to install Magic Menu. MM is also dependent upon the "True Finder" extension being present, and turned on (enable the switch).
