Glad to hear it is working with 6.3 or 6.5 too, Mike.
I must admit, I did not try to mount DC4 images with recent DC6 versions on a real Mac lately.
My SheepShaver sytems on different hosts do not mount the DC4 format with DC6 higher than 6.1.
However, hardly anybody is going to write to floppy in emulation, although it could be done with Fusion_PC, SoftMac or BasiliskII on a PC host with a floppy drive.
Maybe its just a SheepShaver bug?
Some serials (untested) from those days, the DLX were meant for Stuffit Deluxe: DRPS-540-475480 DRPL-536-101386 DRPD-591-180058 DLXE-851-564744 DLXU-674-772032 DLXU-674-772032 DLXA-838-254215
Support of .image files seems to have been dropped with DiskCopy version 6.2.
You will need 6.1
You'd better tell my version 6.3.3 of Disk Copy to stop mounting or burning Disk Copy 4.2 ".image" files to floppy disk then
Even the unofficial Disk Copy 6.5b13 (which requires Mac OS 9.1 or newer to run) mounts and can create DC 4.2 ".image" files and burn to floppy, DC 4.2 ".image" files, if your Mac has a floppy disk drive.
"nickbouwhuis" could use DC 6.1 or later, DC 4.2, DiskDup+, or ShrinkWrap 2.1 or later to burn this ".image" file to floppy disk. Perhaps he could have fleshed out his question with more info. e.g. what kind of Mac and OS he's wanting to install this version of Stuffit onto, and from what OS and Mac/PC he's trying to do it from, etc.

You will need 6.1 therefore or 4.2, as it is a 4.2 image (as requested for MG uploads).

This one worked for me!
now uploaded to the internal server
File's gone. Anyone able to locate it again?
Does the serial work for anyone else? DropStuff says it's not valid, and I've pasted and typed it manually.

How do I write that .image file to a diskette?
Yep, this page' title is fine.
Yes,
"DropStuff with Expander Enhancer Stuffit Expander" that is written on the floppy.
Rather long title, I thought.
EE? (I think "Enhancer Expander" or similar)
