...it's annoying when the clock keeps peeping through to interrupt whatever program you are running in full screen.

In those times when this menubar clock gets in the road: Hold the "Option" key down and click the time in the menubar. This causes the clock to hide. When you want it back again, option click in the area of the menubar where the clock is usually located - it reappears.

Heh, after all these years, now I decide to RTFM.

One of the best menu-clocks out there... this was a "first install" extension back in the day.
