SuperPaint, with it's fusion of paint and draw layers, became an popular tool for the working graphic artist in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Silicon Beach was quick to release version 2.0 in 1988, but SuperPaint would have to wait 4 years before it got its colors. SuperPaint 3.0 was released in 1992, under the Aldus banner.

@Gaël: Thank you for the scan you have done of this manual. It is very well executed and is an excellent addition.
Added the scanned manual of SuperPaint v1.1.
Enjoy !

These may be the better versions of SuperPaint compared to what I had uploaded. I remember a version of it that allowed brushes for mirror lines and some really cool patterns resulted. In fact I used an iMac G3 DV and yes...Bondy Blue (450MHz) I had bought at my local GoodWill Store. Got SuperPaint from this site and used version 3.0. I highly recommend Version 3.0 as it includes a better choice of thing to do...interface may be more confusing, but it is a great tool once you figure out how to use it.
I've replaced the virus infected archive with a (Disinfectant) clean version. Double-checked with Virex 6.1 before re-uploading.
This file is infected with nVIR A and MBDF A/B viruses.
