2.1 requires 8.6 and Carbonlib. 1.4 supports SSW 7.

I've tried this several times over the years and have encountered too many problems (I forget, but I know I've given it several chances and it's always been disappointing compared to others on Mac OS Classic). Stuffit Deluxe 7 can open zip files read-only and let you browse them, and there's a DropStuff, which serves most needs.
