Hmm, it's probably not a bad disk. I just got my hands on an original that mounts and images fine and that works on an SE. It behaves the same way in emulation as the disk currently in the archive. Need to try some more things.

Looks to me like copy protection isn't the only problem. I suspect a bad disk and corrupted code.
