Airburst Extreme

Description from the former developer's website:
"Our great new game, Airburst Extreme has gone into production and is now available to order direct from the Freeverse Store or from your local Mac games retailer (such as Mac Merchant in Tottenham Court Road, London for instance )

Airburst Extreme is the followup to our award winning game Airburst and has been re-written from the ground up to include an interactive Story Game, introducing the 10 different characters, each with their own Extreme powers, 32 different game types, most of which are also playable over a network. Watch out too for the new power ups, spectacular OpenGL rendered graphics and great soundtrack from Abdoujaparov, Freekstar and Jaffa Mountain!

Unravel the mystery as you compete for fame in Airburst matches throughout the Solar System!
Its edge-of-your-seat gameplay with 32 Game Modes including Deathmatch, Racing, Sumo and Football.

Note for registered Airburst players:
If you registered the original Airburst (now reffered to as Airburst Classic ) your registration code unlocks an extra game mode in Airburst Extreme! If your Airburst Classic was registered via Freeverse, Airburst Extreme recognises the code automatically and adds the new game mode on startup, if you registered using our older system, copy the keyfile you were given from your Airburst Classic folder into your Airburst Extreme folder for the game to give you your extra game mode."

Airburst Extreme is the successor of Airburst which was renamed to Airburst Classic afterwards.

The first download link is the demo version v1.0.
The second download link is the updater for the CD version to version v1.01.
