Developed for the Mac by the games' original developer, PopCap Games, Bejeweled and Alchemy are two challenging arcade-style puzzle titles already enjoyed online via PopCap Games' Java-based online gaming service. PopCap Games has redone for the Mac with improved graphics, sound and gameplay. In Bejeweled, players must match gems on a puzzle board before time runs out by matching 3 gems in a row either horizontally or vertically. Alchemy puts players in the role of a wizard who must transmute lead to gold by matching colored symbols of like kind horizontally or vertically. (MacWorld, Jun 28, 2002)
