CompatibilityRuns great in classic

Loved taking the bus off huge jumps in this game. Many nights of sleep lost to this game.
If available, bin-cue images from original Macintosh CDs should be always first choice over constructing images with Audio partition of the PC CD. This website's goal is preservation of Mac software, so try to upload the software with no modifications at all, i.e. as near to the original as possible, if you can do it.
mrdav, only on these two games i have this problem. Every other game that you have made as bin-cue for the audio, works great.
Maybe this shows that we really should be taking a bin-cue image of an original Mac CD (my preference) rather than constructing one using audio from a PC disc. If anyone can make bin-cue images of original Mac CDs for Carmageddon 1 and 2, you are welcome to delete my bin-cue images and replace them with your copies.
The game (with the audio) does every 2-3 secs pauses. I have the same problem with Carmageddon 1 (with audio). Tested on imac g3 500 mhz, 1 gb ram, 16mb video ram. I don't have this problem with previous downloads (with no audio).
I have uploaded a bin-cue image made from the game file uploaded here and the audio tracks on the PC version of Carmageddon 2. I hope it is OK. Of course, a bin-cue of original media is preferable, but I don't have access to such. See also my bin-cue of Carmageddon 1 FULL CD.
I love this game!!!
wunderfull
aaah this is the most fantastic game of the world!!..
Just doing some preliminary testing to see if this would work. Right now games that are >100 MB have such a link.
Yes, I have the Original CD ROM which is really good with the Fear Factory Music, and I used to play it with a PPC Performa 6500-603e series with OS 8.1, which I left in California (now I live in Mexico) and now, I use the SoftMac Emulator, but I kept all my CD's including the original Performa Restore CD with OS 7.5.5 and Mac OS 8.1, Adobe Pagemill, Unreal (the first), Duke Nukem, and other games that are already posted here, but as I already mentioned, when I stuff the pagemll Folder program for example, once it goes through the Windows world, I cannot Unstuff it back,
(I made some tests) so if someone can help, I'd be glad to share them.
If you tell about original disc, do you mean it's a CD ROM? If so, please use Toast (or in Mac OS X, Hard Disk utility is also OK), choosing "CD ROM" as image format, then zip it by right-click "Create Archive" command. No need to mess with Stuffit if you plan to upload a game shipped on CD-ROM.
The minus point is, probably, it is maybe not useable with original Mac OS 9 machines, but we have to look into the future, where we run those games in emulators. Just adding such files to the Emulator's Preferences in the Drives Panels.
I have the first one (Original Disc) I just don't know how to convert it and upload it,
I tried to convert some Apps that I want to share to .SIT format (From the SoftMac emulator), but when I transfer them from the Mac OS world to Windows, they become corrupted and useless.
Nice. Anyone got the first one?
