The Carmageddon Splat Pack was the only official expansion pack for Carmageddon. Released for PCs only in November 1997, it added several new cars, power-ups and levels. Later, a fan made Apple Script installer was made available for Mac users to enjoy the expanded game. It relied on you having the original game CDs but would be a pain in the butt to get to work.

Found a bug: The last track won't play. The game crashes on with a low memory error, but giving it more memory doesn't seem to help.

But why a torrent only link? Isn't this worth archiving internally? Over 1 GB file size?

I got it to work, but it's irrelevant at this point as this package is just drag, drop & play. No patching required.

In my comments on this page I noted the following about the Splat Pack: "Unfortunately, I have found that it (the AppleScript Installer) does not work with Mac OS 9.2.2 (the author only claims that it works for OS 8 ). Can someone can get this script to work?"
