The two downloads here are two different editions (though pressings might be a better word) of the game: Junior.iso is the more common version, "Carmen Sandiego: Junior Detective Edition," released in 1996; CarmenWorldJunior.iso is one I found on eBay called "Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? Junior Detective Edition," released in 1995. Aside from the titles, I couldn't find any differences between the two games when I played them on Windows, but there must be something different to account for the extra 26 MB in Junior.iso.
In SheepShaver, CarmenWorldJunior.iso plays the intro video fine, then proceeds to the game but with no sound. Junior.iso paints a white box where the video should be but plays the audio (I assume because SS doesn't like running QuickTime in 256 colors, which the game requires you to set your monitor to), but after the intro the game crashes with an error saying there's not enough memory to load a sound file.
In Basilisk II, both of them play the intro fine, but afterward crash the emulator with a bomb dialog box.
But hey, it DOES work in Windows (tested in XP under Parallels), and the CD I imaged Junior.iso from worked fine in my old iMac G3.
