It's a remake of Crazy Comets, an "Asteroids" clone that was burned into everyone's mind who played it in the early 1980s. You have to destroy all approaching comets with your tiny spaceship using a wide variety of weapons like laser, grenades, comet destroyer, self-targeting rockets and much more. The game was coded using RealBasic 4.x on Apple Macintosh by a then-14 year old. This release is completely freeware.
Notes:
The first download is the Crazy Comets 2002 game. The second download contains replacement graphics to give the game a Star Wars Episode II theme, just like Obi-Wan chasing Jango Fett through the asteroid field. Each is a Disk Copy 6 disk image (custom size) in a StuffIt 3.5 archive.
CompatibilityWorks in Mac OS X 10.1 and 10.2, but not in 10.5
