So it wasn't just you anymore — a voice kept resounding in your skull, offering opinions without invitation, telling you what to do and when to do it. The voice was friendly and had your interests at heart, but it was two minds in one body. Carbon and silicon. Organic joined with machine in a new creation that didn't come with a user manual.
- The user manual
Cyborg divides the player's and computer's roles oppositely from The Quest: you play the human who undertakes all the actions, while it plays the cybernetic implant that studies your surroundings and offers advice. The two of you must co-operate to keep yourselves fed and powered and unravel your mutual amnesia.
In terms of difficulty, Cyborg is definitely not for the uninitiated adventure player! [...] If you're an intermediate or advanced computer gamester, it will satisfactorily hold your adventuresome interest.
- The Book of Macintosh Software
Important: This game is not compatible with the Macintosh Plus. To emulate it, you will need the Mac 128K, 512K, or SE variation of Mini vMac (and a matching ROM).
