"A 3D Breakout variant. The bricks are in a 'well', and the paddle is a transparent rectangle. (So you can actually see what's going on.) In each level, destroy all the bricks to proceed. Some bricks are colored, and can only be destroyed by a similar-colored ball. Hit color-changing bricks to make this happen. Other bricks are diamond bricks, and can only be destroyed once all the colored bricks have been destroyed. There are also key and lock bricks, which function as one might expect, and magic bricks, which have unusual effects. Finally, the paddle can hold the ball in place, by using energy which is recharged whenever the ball hits the paddle. 50 levels are included, and the game is saved every 5 levels." --MobyGames.com

This was a fun, relaxing, well-designed sort of game. I burned a lot of time on it and its 2D ancestor!
I've also playing thids game since I've using Power Mac 6100/66 and G4 in 2002.
I remember playing this game as a kid! Looks just as good today as it did then....
